German Julius Feurich pianos are exceptional when restored, especially those from about 1900 to 1935, of which there are about 500 in the UK. Jamie Cullum recently (2011) bought a restored 1920s Feurich from us. See his testimonial here. Modern Feurich pianos are being marketed by Wendl & Lung. They also have a cheaper range which is the continuation of Wendl and Lung. The touch is remarkably well balanced between down-weight and up-weight and the tone very European. In our opinion probably the best new upright under £4000. See here for more details. Highly recommended.
