Finely crafted German uprights and grands. Sauter are now the oldest existing European manufacturing company and reputedly one of only four companies using 100% German parts. Of these companies the largest is Steinway making about 1500 pianos in Hamburg. Sauter make approximately 800 pianos, Grotrian Steinweg 600 and Steingraeber 100. There are many online forums reviewing this superb maker of new pianos.
