| Hopkinson is a very common British make, varying from excellent to acceptable, though some pre 1900 uprights are often overdampers. and basic. Hopkinson upright pianos made from about 1915 to 1930 often have a very rich and pleasing tone with a responsive touch. Hopkinson baby grands are fair, about the same level as smaller Challen baby grands. |
