German Julius Feurich pianos are exceptional when restored, especially those from about 1900 to 1935, of which there are about 500 in the UK. Modern Feurich pianos are being marketed by Wendl & Lung. They also have a cheaper range which is the continuation of Wendl and Lung. The touch is remarkably well balanced between down-weight and up-weight and the tone very European. In our opinion pobably the best new upright under £4000. Recommended.
